Jeep Owners
So I've been toying with the idea of getting a new Jeep Wrangler for the last year or so now and never really found one. Well last night I ended up looking at one and am kinda interested.
'07 X Manual 17k miles 17" Wheels Fogs Hardtop Power Doors/Locks Theft Recovery 6 Disc Changer They are asking $19,000 otd. My credit union gave me a book value of $19700 for it. Nothing sketchy on carfax. Should I go for it? Does this sound like a decent deal? All the Jeep haters can stay away, I am fully aware of what I am getting into. Quirky Jeep issues and gas mileage...I know.

Re: Jeep Owners
I'm gonna say no as well, you can find one at a better price.
It's also a Jeep thing and I don't understand. |

Re: Jeep Owners
Find me something with a stick, 17" wheels, and a hard top. Because I can't seem to.

Re: Jeep Owners
Plus I want the new '07 bodystyle, they have a "few" more creature comforts...I randomly checked scambay for '07 and newer and there are ones with the same options for buy it now prices the same or higher!

Re: Jeep Owners
I have a 2000 sport that I bought pre-owned in 02 w/ 9,000 miles for 14K I believe. It's been the most reliable & fun vehicle I've ever owned (SV aside). That being said however if I had it to do over right now I probably wouldn't buy it again simply because of the lame gas mileage. If you want to buy a Jeep & you're prepared for the quirks I'd say make the seller no more than a 90% of their asking price offer & stick to it w/ out negotiating. Odds are they are trying to get rid of it because it's lost it's appeal for them.
