prefered method for wheelies on the SV650?

For those that like to wheelie this bike, especially the guys that weight a little over 200 lbs like me, how do you wheelie your bike?

ok, ok, ok you're gonna catch a lot of flak for this one.

it is a know fact that prolonged wheelies will cause oil starvation to the front cylinder and will potentially lead to engine failure

just an fyi.

I wheelie my dirtbike, I leave it off the street. Some however may chime in with their techniques, but you're more likely to get responses in the negative.

Re: prefered method for wheelies on the SV650?

well i'll try my best at a good answer, from what i've learned the enging is designed to operate on a "normal" level and "vertical" levels cause the engine oil to flow away from the oil pick-up tube and starve the engine for oil (not just front cylinder remember no pick-up in oil, no oil anywheres) , a short wheelie now and then prolly will neverhurt anything, but prolonged wheelies like the D-bags on youtube going 4 miles (disclaimer: sv cant wheelie 4 miles) on their hind wheel will most definately cause a prob others will chime in shortly, i'm sure

Re: prefered method for wheelies on the SV650?

Sorry for the ignorance, but what is the design difference that allows other bikes to wheelie without ill effects? And is the SV not suitable for riding in the mountains?
