Re: SV1000 Exhaust on SV650?
It could be done, but it would be hard since the 1k uses a 'bolt-on' style can. You'd need to weld on the flange from a 1k to your 650 headers. then bolt the 1k can on. Likely more trouble than it's worth.
Just get a nice slip-on instead. |

Re: SV1000 Exhaust on SV650?
Are you talking about the entire exhaust? So you have duals? I'll check when I get a chance but I'm pretty sure the header won't line up to the heads.

Re: SV1000 Exhaust on SV650?
oh man, if it does that would solve so many problems. I find it unreasonable that I have to send parts (or the whole bike) to Renegade, and I'm having a hard time finding a place that does custom systems from the header to where you mount the slip on.
By the way, someone out there makes an adapter so you can fit a slip on to a bolt-on exhaust system. Can't remember who at the moment.

it can be done now is the an 03 to an 03 if so it is easy but if it is 03 to say an 01 you need to cut the front head pipe and make it smaller then re weld and that is it mounts up just the same.

Re: SV1000 Exhaust on SV650?
I don't suppose you could use a TL1000 exhaust on an gen 1? I've never seen a TL in real life so I have no idea.
