The Top Gear Thread

Top Gear (UK) is awesome. I think it deserves its own thread.

To start it off, guess who's coming up for the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car?
Jay Leno!

Re: The Top Gear Thread

Love the show.

Love how they make fun of us.

Clarkson was reeling off the specs of a vehicle he was reviewing once and he said, "the rated capacity is 600 pounds, or roughly one person from America".

We had the show on in the break room at lunch.

I laughed out loud.

Three other Americans got pizzed and wanted to change the channel.

Re: The Top Gear Thread

One of the funniest shows ever, and one of few I bother to DVR nowadays. It never fails to get a lot of laughs. It's a shame America is completely incapable of producing a show like this.

The BBC site and the Top Gear site both say it's Usain Bolt this week, perhaps Leno is on next week.

And a shot from the filming Wednesday:

Why?
I torrent it usually around 6pm EST Sunday night (it airs at 8pm in England, so it's fairly well seeded by then) and watch it either later that night or Monday.

Now if you can find me a source for the Canadian Superbike race from ICAR that aired on TSN this past Tuesday we'll talk about the lathering of your arse (but you have to shave it yourself, sorry).

Re: The Top Gear Thread

Another good show. Only 3 more this season, 7 total.

I believe the next one is the one with Jay Leno.
