2005 SV1000s Subframe Help!
Okay i have a K5 SV1000s and have bent my subframe. Ive been looking all over for an unbent replacement and im getting mixed signals on which exact subframes are compatible. I was under the impression that the SV hasnt changed since my 2005 but it seems the OEM part numbers are slightly different for each year and color (black or silver) Anyone who has any experience with subframes particularly 2005 sv1000s or 650s, please help! Thanks!

Re: 2005 SV1000s Subframe Help!
The 2003 subframes are diffrent from the 2004 ones. The 2004 subframes sit lower on the bike.

Another issue
The sub frame I purchased fits!!! Yay! But I have another problem with my bike, and I've already made two topics so I don't wanna make a third.
Whenever I start my bike, when it's cold, I get inconsistent speed readings. I made a video of it to show what I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqcM6dbAq2g I just started noticing this a few days ago and I haven't done anything to my bike at all really except replace the sub frame a week before I noticed this. |

Re: Another issue
Something f'd up with the speedo sensor. First thing to check is the wires and connections comming from the front sprocket cover.
