Carb Bolts

With the weather getting colder, I plan on a carb rebuild. Last time I took it apart for a cleaning, I stripped a couple of those **** phillips head bolts and one broke on me completely. Does anyone know what size they are? I'd like to order a bunch of allen bolts to replace them.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: Carb Bolts

You can just take the screws and get matching allen bolts from Lowes. They have boards next to the fasteners w/ threaded barrels on them which will tell you the thread size, just eyeball the length. If you can't get the phillips heads out w/ a screwdriver or impact driver you can CAREFULLY slot them w/ a dremel and use a flat screwdriver if it's an accessible screw like the ones in the float covers.

Re: Carb Bolts

a #10-32 bolt will also work if you have a hard time finding metric bolts
