Exclamation For sale section suggestion

Okay two things bug me about it.

First it should be required to post a price. This is the way it was on my last forum and it really moved things along. There was no more "how much do you want?" "i dunno make me a price" bull. That is what OBO is for.

Second It should be required pictures posted of it. Why send pics if asked? What if i was going to buy it and decided bull thats too good of a price with no pics, im not even gonna bother to look at the pics. I mean if your willing to send or post them later why not post them now?

Also there was a post awhile back about a really 19000 dollar chopper ( i think that was the price) and the guy posted a picture that looked like the thumbnail to a photobucket album. If your gonna post a picture, post it so people can see the details.

Thanks for reading my suggestions!

Re: For sale section suggestion

There's another forum where any threads with no price, pictures and location simply get deleted.

Re: For sale section suggestion

required to post a price? we have this listed in the bikes for sale section, but not the others. good suggestion.
pics required? I do prefer to see pics before I buy something but I dont think it needs to be required.

I'll talk with the other mods about getting some better rules/guidelines set up for the for sale forums.

Re: For sale section suggestion

awesome thanks.. I guess the picture thing is more so when your buying a used part that they say has normal wear and tear. Most people want to see what they call normal. (normal for a stunter is different than a tourer)

Just wanted to reiterate this. Nothing is more f**king annoying than "Make me an offer". F**king post the price you'd like to get for it, if I want the item but don't like your price I'll counter-offer. This is how negotiations are done. Don't show me what you have and tell me to make you an offer, I'll offer you $1.00.

No price and/or no picture I dont even bother going any further ... I go to the next thread

And counter offers should be done via PMs not in the general thread. Show a small shread of decorum to the seller.
