Hello Riders in the Twin Cities Metro Area!

I'm new to the site and ride a 1st gen SV650 (a lot) around Mpls and south metro. I love this site! I have already found many useful tidbits as I prepare the bike for the spring.

Now we know more snow is going to come, but you can really feel spring in there air latley. Soon enough we will be enjoying good weather and fresh air around Lake Calhoun. I'm running out of tune up items in the garage, so hopfully

So are lots of group rides set up here? I would like to meet up with some fellow riders around town for some rides and get togethers;D

Greetings from Blaine.

Yep, we're almost through the woods.

Keep your eyes peeled in this section for info on group rides. Most of them end up with 3-5 riders and are finalized on short notice. Longer ones (6+ hours) usually involve a raid on Wisconsin.

Weather in mid 40's, it's riding season!

Rode to work today, roads are a bit cold and slippery, but it's good to be out.

Chubblebeeks-Love the "raid" on WI. Sounds good. I will keep my eyes open for postings!

Olebi- I would not mind riding in the mid 40's, although my roads are cover in sand and salt. I'm not ready for the sort of clean up on my bike, lol. I have seen some folks out on the past nice days though! Give me one good rain and i will fire her up! Getting ready for new chain/sprockets and set for summer:)
