Please sign up and play... Should be a good year. This is a nice little diversion through out the football season. It's easy to play and entertaining.. nothing like a little smack talk.
wacky_woodchuck 08-19-2008, 08:48 AM Also, it is set up for an auto draft... unless we can come to terms with a live draft, I'll leave it as such.
Season starts on Thursday September 4th. So... the Autodraft will take place on September 1st, unless we do a live draft.
Let me know if you want to do a live draft and when. It takes around a hour or so. I've done a bunch of these and they don't take as long as you think.
ASCSurveyor 08-19-2008, 10:49 AM I'll never join you!

wacky_woodchuck 08-19-2008, 10:46 PM How does the scoring look? I think it's not too bad. Should be fun for some high scoring games.
orangegilly 08-20-2008, 07:54 AM How does the scoring look? I think it's not too bad. Should be fun for some high scoring games.
There's a couples things I might modify ----
1. The 'receiving' scoring. It's a lot easier for a receiver to get 100 and 150+ yards than it is for a running back. In previous leagues I've been in, the scoring for receiving has been 20 yds/point.
Also, with the points for hitting the 100 and 150 threshholds, are those 'bonus' points? Meaning you'd get the normal points for the yardage, then bonus points for hitting BOTH of those marks, or is it one or the other (depending on the total yards)? I guess I'm not totally clear on that. :dontknow: Maybe these should be higher for receiving than running? Maybe 150=5 pts and 200+=10 pts?
2. Please Please Please.......use fractional scoring. I'd rather get proper credit for all the yardage a player gets, and it virtually eliminates the chance for ties. I've been on both ends (winning or losing by a little), and it can suck either way, but it does more accurately reflect the contributions of each player, IMO.
Otherwise, looks pretty good to me.
rocklax 08-20-2008, 11:01 AM I'm in a league that has point per touch.
Backs get .5 per carry and Receivers get 1 per catch.

Noted...and yes, good idea
Also, with the points for hitting the 100 and 150 threshholds, are those 'bonus' points? I guess I'm not totally clear on that. :dontknow: Maybe these should be higher for receiving than running? Maybe 150=5 pts and 200+=10 pts?You are correct. If a running back gets 125 yards, he gets 12.5 points for yards + 5 points bonus. If he reaches 160 yards, he'll get 16 points + 5 bonus + 10 bonus. I can change this to make it harder. But when it comes down to it..how many backs get 150+ yards? Not many.
2. Please Please Please.......use fractional scoring. I'd rather get proper credit for all the yardage a player gets, and it virtually eliminates the chance for ties. Will fix it.
Otherwise, looks pretty good to me.
But who REALLY asked you? :p
wacky_woodchuck 08-20-2008, 04:59 PM I've been apporached to do a live draft on September 1st @ 9pm EST. Does this work for everyone? If you cannot be available, just pre-rank your players and it'll select your players like you are actually there.
Let me know. Time can change for our West Coasters if need be.
orangegilly 08-20-2008, 05:20 PM I've only done one live draft ever, but I could probably make myself available for that time. I'm ok with either live or auto....
rocklax 08-20-2008, 08:55 PM I should be ok...
wacky_woodchuck 08-25-2008, 07:29 AM Bump... We need more players.
orangegilly 08-31-2008, 11:16 PM C'mon people.....we need FIVE more teams to have a full league. Nobody cares if you suck or not, know nothing about football or not, and it's not like there's any money on the line......it's just a way to make the season a bit more interesting.....
The draft is scheduled for Monday night.....
GMslave 08-31-2008, 11:54 PM Signed up. I think I'm lost already though. Where the hell are my players? ???
tlc4diving 09-01-2008, 12:44 AM Ok, I joined too, but I have no idea what I'm doing. Can I write you guys a postdated check for my part of what I lose? :D
orangegilly 09-01-2008, 06:55 AM Sweet. 3 more needed......
wacky_woodchuck 09-01-2008, 08:29 AM Well, I'll change the league "Ready to Draft" on Tuesday evening. It'll just be an AutoPick draft with the draft order randomly selected by Yahoo. The Live draft just didn't work out.
wacky_woodchuck 09-01-2008, 08:39 AM We need atleast ONE more team... Come on people...it'll be fun...:fiddy:
orangegilly 09-01-2008, 03:03 PM WTH? We had nine teams earlier, and now we have SEVEN? :angry2:
tlc4diving 09-01-2008, 03:14 PM aw ohhhhhhhhh, I forgot my sign in name. :(
udski 09-01-2008, 05:53 PM I'm in.
wacky_woodchuck 09-01-2008, 06:04 PM Great...we have eight teams. I will change our draft status tomorrow around 5pm eastern standard time. Then our teams will be drafted accordingly.
Thanks again... it's always a fun time.
GMslave 09-01-2008, 10:22 PM OK, so I did NOT miss the draft ?? I thought it was today, but we went out for ice cream.......and my brain lost track.
wacky_woodchuck 09-02-2008, 06:52 AM OK, so I did NOT miss the draft ?? I thought it was today, but we went out for ice cream.......and my brain lost track.
I gave it one more day, to TRY and get some more players. The draft *should* happen tonight.
rocklax 09-02-2008, 09:55 AM Tonight at 5? Is it live?
wacky_woodchuck 09-02-2008, 09:58 AM Tonight at 5? Is it live?
Not live...I will change our league status from "Not Ready to Draft" to Ready to Draft. Yahoo will then select the order and then draft players for us. They should be ready in the morning...
wacky_woodchuck 09-02-2008, 10:01 AM Also, Yahoo states that we won't be able to play in week one.... But I'll change that once the players are drafted.
Actually...I'll set it to ready and be done with it. No sense waiting for others. We have 8 teams and it'll be a decent FF season.
So...the League's closed folks.
Yeah..power to the commish! ;D
SwampyVT 09-02-2008, 12:17 PM Hmm.. I just managed to get into the league /shrug I just saw this thread been busy with the wife and all...

wacky_woodchuck 09-03-2008, 03:49 AM ALright folks...we NEED ONE more team. We cannot have an odd number apartently. So some one step up, or I'll make a dummy team tonight.
I'll be at a track day umm...today...so, I'll set the draft to later this evening as long as we have one more player.

(The free StatTracker® trial has ended. If you wish to receive live stats and instant fantasy scores after Sunday, Sep 7, you must purchase the StatTracker® add-on) This is what is at the top of my screen now.
nyc rugby 09-08-2008, 11:46 PM i'll get it because the same $10 covers all Yahoo leagues and that's where I play my money league as well.
Any sidebets? Doesn't have to be money...maybe something like photo documented superbowl day rides from anyone who doesn't make the playoffs regardless of weather. ;)
orangegilly 09-09-2008, 09:04 AM Normally, I'd rejoice over the Pats losing a star player for the year, but not this year. :'(

Did you lose your star player? Whew, dodged a bullet with that one. 1 and 0 so far.
wacky_woodchuck 09-09-2008, 12:14 PM Of course, I had a good week, but I went up against the No. 1 performing QB AND Running back... Ahhhh...poop on a stick...
orangegilly 09-09-2008, 07:55 PM Did you lose your star player? Whew, dodged a bullet with that one. 1 and 0 so far.
Yeah, not to mention my two rookie running backs FAR outperformed the RB's I had starting for me this weekend. Oh, and I didn't have net access from Friday to today, so I couldn't set my lineup, either.
Oh well....an off week. It happens.
nyc rugby 09-09-2008, 08:27 PM I suck >:(
LSCYCLING 09-15-2008, 04:22 PM I'm gonna be 2-0 Kinda easy when the QB beats a team himself, DANG whooped ass this week and still have 3 players to play tonight.
udski 09-16-2008, 07:08 PM I thought I had the win locked up... then Romo and Barber put up 65 points on Monday night.
LSCYCLING 09-16-2008, 07:29 PM That's all? hehe.. Hey Teri how's the top of the heap?
tlc4diving 09-17-2008, 10:37 AM That's all? hehe.. Hey Teri how's the top of the heap?

LSCYCLING 09-17-2008, 12:50 PM I was 3 for 6 in voting last week and the OG Highsider v. Boys in Blue game is still up in the air since the game was postponed. They each have a player on Baltimore. That was a close game.

Yes it was, and thankfully, I eked out a win. My kicker really came through for me.
LSCYCLING 09-17-2008, 01:09 PM so the postponed game isn't going to count then?
129.67 to 129.44, that's close.
orangegilly 09-17-2008, 01:53 PM so the postponed game isn't going to count then?
129.67 to 129.44, that's close.
The postponed game was rescheduled to Nov. 9th. Kinda hard to count that for week 2's scoring. So essentially, they both had their bye week this week, and if you started any players that were supposed to play in that game, you just got 0 points this week.
GMslave 09-21-2008, 02:38 PM this suxxors. Miami routing New ENgland? Cinci giving the Giants a whoopin' ?? I am so glad there's no money on this.

wacky_woodchuck 09-22-2008, 06:55 AM What a week. I had 30 points to cover with my QB, 2 - WR's and my kicker to go.... And I didn't get it done.
tlc4diving 09-22-2008, 08:28 AM Awe did the ****kickers get the **** kicked out of them. Next week one of the undefeated teams is going to lose. Teri is going down............
blah blah blah.............. I still have 3 players that haven't played in 2 weeks, one of which hasn't played a down this year. They should all be active next week to help out with at least SOME points.
orangegilly 09-22-2008, 08:38 AM What a week. I had 30 points to cover with my QB, 2 - WR's and my kicker to go.... And I didn't get it done.

LSCYCLING 09-23-2008, 10:52 AM 2 for 6 in voting this week. Am I the only one that votes on who will win the other games. Oh yeah also
It's good to be king.
This week 2 teams enter undefeated 1 team will remain undefeated.
rocklax 09-26-2008, 07:37 AM My team just plain old blows...
LSCYCLING 09-30-2008, 09:56 AM SV HAVERS MC STILL UNDEFEATED
Two teams entered and one team left undefeated. The SV Havers MC handily defeated The Okies in a beautiful game that saw touchdown and interceptions galore. Romo with his 3 TD's and 1 interception for the Okies and Cutler with 1 TD and 2 interceptions, Romo narrowly took out the QB victory. B Coles of the Jets caught 3 TD's helping the Okies crush in the WR department. The RB department was easily won by The SV Havers as LT set the pace scoring more than 23 points for the team while the Okies missed an injury report that left one running back sidelined for Mondays game. The clincher for the win for The SV Havers was the defence, Tennessee crushed the Vikings while securing the undefeated status for The SV Havers MC. Two teams entered one team leaves, The SV Havers MC have the team that could crush the whole league.
Lance went 4 for 6 in league voting bettering last weeks dismal 2 of 6.
tlc4diving 09-30-2008, 11:05 AM I gotta dump some dead weight this week. Dam Vince Young. :angry7:
LSCYCLING 09-30-2008, 11:08 AM pbltttththhhhhh I'm undefeated. I really thought you had beat me when I saw you got 3 td's from romo and 3 to your WR I was a bit shocked when I saw I won.

It would have been a massacre.......if Brady wouldn't have gone down so early in that game. And who knew rookie RB's would actually produce in their first game?
Don't worry, we'll meet again in week 12.
LSCYCLING 10-06-2008, 11:03 AM SV HAVERS MC ARE STILL UNDEFEATED
Can this team be defeated? The most incredible start since the SVRider league was formed. Critics are calling this team "the most talented team since 72' Dolphins"
The SV Havers MC have clawed their way through to another victory by defeating the Scruffy Nerfherders, 74.52 to 49.60. Coach Lance was a bit torn realizing that the Nerfherders QB was non other than hometown favorite Matt Hasselback and could only watch from the sidleines as he was pummled and held to a lowly 2.20 points. Thanks fully the SV's QB Jay Cutler pulled out a good game to keep the SV'ers undefeated streak alive.
Playing against Fire Ants next week will surely be a challenge for this team as the Fire Ants are coming off a big week with a victory.
In picking this week is a definite 3 of 4 with 2 games decided tonight this could be my best week picking with a solid 5 of 6 games.

LSCYCLING 10-07-2008, 01:40 PM lance don't know nothing bout no SVrider football report written.
LSCYCLING 10-10-2008, 10:44 AM hey get your players with bye weeks changed and vote for the teams you think are going to win. I went 5 for 6 last week.
Fire Ants pah-shaw, really Seattle players really. I know I should support the home team but seriously?
LSCYCLING 10-16-2008, 04:33 PM WHAT A SHOCKER
The big news of this weekends FF season was the emergence of a victorious Shockers team. Winning by a score of 81.73 - 66.54 over the R6 Throttle tubes, upsetting all the voting as the game was heavily weighed in favor of the R6 team. This win has brought The Shockers winless season to a halt. Can they keep going in the right direction and upset the league or just play spoiler this one week, time shall tell.
Other news the Okies fell to the Woodchucks, falling to 3rd place while DA WAD over took the ****kickers to take hold of 2nd place. The SV Havers MC maintain their undefeated streak at 6 games.
In picking this week I went 4 for 6 with that Shockers victory really messing things up in the voting.
tlc4diving 10-16-2008, 06:52 PM My starting QB is injured this week and my backup is phycho, not looking good again this week either.
LSCYCLING 10-16-2008, 07:02 PM I saw that, but they said they might let him play. I guess the key word there is might. You need to remember to change out your players who have bye weeks too.
LSCYCLING 10-20-2008, 10:43 AM Shockers on a roll
The Shockers are on a 2 game winning streak, beating the OG Highsiders 90.41 to 81.75.
Half the points for the Shockers were brought in by Steven Jackson with 45.07 points. Truly an amazing game and truly an upset for the highsiders.
The Okies win Romo less
The Okies squeezed out a win despite not having Romo in at QB. The Okies pulled in big points from their Minnesota players in a game that was truly high scoring. This win now ties The Okies for 2nd with DA WAD taking the loss.
Fire Ants crush with defense
The Fire Ants crushing bears defense really walloped Minnesota bringing in 22 points to their total of 100.03, securing their 4th win of the season over The Boys in Blue. The boy's in Blue's defense just couldn't match with their dismal -1, truly upsetting the TBIB fans.
Some 1 buy my SV!!! breaths new life
Some 1 buy my SV!!! finds new life with their name change with 4 players scoring in the double digits. Their defeat of The ****kickers boosts their record to 2-5 for the season.
SV Havers MC STILL undefeated
The SV Havers MC just seem unbeatable, pretty much securing victory with 2 more players yet to play. The Hunts point all stars might have been able to pull something off if they remembered to check for bye weeks for their QB. 7-0 for the SV Havers MC
Scruffy Nerfherders upset the Woodchucks
In what was supposed to be an easy victory for the Woodchucks, fell to a loss, as the Scruffy Nerfherders put up big points by 2 players totaling 59 points and another 2 putting up 28.66 the rest was just frosting. Moving the Scruffy Nerfherdsers to a record of 3-4.
Current standings
1. SV Haver MC 7-0-0
2. Okies 5-2-0
3. DA WAD 5-2-0
4. OG Highsiders 4-3-0
5. Fire Ants 4-3-0
6. Woodchucks 4-3-0
7. Boys in Blue 3-4-0
8. Scruffy Nerfherders 3-4-0
9. The ****kickers 2-5-0
10. The Shockers 2-5-0
11. Some1 buy my SV!!! 2-5-0
12. Hunts Point Allstars 1-6-0
In picking this week I went 4 for 6 missing the shockers and Scruffy Nerfherders victories
LSCYCLING 10-26-2008, 05:10 PM I think I've got another win.......last count was 7 TD's for the day. oh yeah I can not be defeated.........
nyc rugby 10-26-2008, 08:00 PM Shockingly I did pretty well today. :)
LSCYCLING 10-27-2008, 10:26 AM must edit above statement. Apparently 7 TD's isn't good enough against a QB that had a 300+ game. I need 4.07 points for the victory still. I COULD LOSE.
orangegilly 10-27-2008, 11:01 AM I need a good showing by Chris Johnson tonight to pull my game out. The Sheetkickers came out of nowhere to score a buncha points this week.
tlc4diving 10-27-2008, 11:03 AM I can't believe I squeaked one out, especially since Romo is out again. And who pays someone millions of $$ and doesn't play them? I have a hard time believing that Porter is getting NO playing time.
LSCYCLING 10-27-2008, 11:06 AM I don't know how you did that either Teri. Every time I look I think, she's going to lose this one then I check on Monday and you've won. I just hope Tennessee crushes Manning. OK at least keep it a low scoring game.
orangegilly 10-27-2008, 11:08 AM Why does it seem that everyone has their 'week of the year' when they play me? ???

you catch all the red lights on the way to work also?
orangegilly 10-27-2008, 06:54 PM you catch all the red lights on the way to work also?
Actually, there's only 2 lights I can catch on the way to work, and one of them is a 'right on red' light, so that usually doesn't count. ;)
But for the record, here's a list of the teams that have played me that have had their best weeks thus far this season against me:
Week 2: Boys in Blue - 129.44 (W for me)
Week 5: Some1 buy my SV! - 120.60 (W for me)
Week 6: Hunts Point Allstars - 109.68 (W for me)
Week 7: The Shockers - 90.41 (L for me)
Week 8: The Sh!tkickers - 117.29 (L for me)
So not EVERY week, but 5/8 weeks, or 62.5% of the time, the teams I play have had their best weeks (to date) against me, including the last four weeks in a row. >:(
orangegilly 10-27-2008, 10:42 PM HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

tlc4diving 10-27-2008, 10:45 PM Oh man, that's one close one to lose.
LSCYCLING 10-27-2008, 11:55 PM .07 I kept going thru the math going "No No No that can't be right.........why did they let him get in the end zone there...............D*MN IT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.............STELA....... ........"
orangegilly 10-28-2008, 03:09 AM .07 I kept going thru the math going "No No No that can't be right.........why did they let him get in the end zone there...............D*MN IT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.............STELA....... ........"
That sucks like my loss last week. I was up well into the 4th quarter of the Browns game, then Anderson finally decided to do something, and threw a touchdown pass to give my opponent the win.
At least it wasn't a tie. :)
LSCYCLING 10-28-2008, 11:57 AM .07
Holy mother of pearl. The fantasy football fans wanted a thriller of an ending and they were granted that yesterday. Going into Monday nights game the SV Havers MC needed 4.07 points to defeat Boys In Blue and remain the only undefeated team in the league. Having the steady defense of the only undefeated team in the NFL (Tennessee Titans) seemed a pretty sure bet they would come out on top. So much so that the Havers team manager was quoted as saying "I think I've got another win.......last count was 7 TD's for the day. oh yeah I can not be defeated........."
IT was not to be so. The Titans 2 interceptions gave the Havers their needed 4 points but the Indianapolis Colts final drive for a TD put them up to 21 points for the night thus leaving an empty void. A big ZERO for points for the night. The .07 was nowhere to be found.
What was truly an incredible game with the Havers securing 7 TD's 3 players with 20+ points it just wasn't enough to knock down Phillip Rivers 339 yeard passing game with 3 TD's bringing in a walloping 45.54 points for the Boys In Blue and the solid outing by their Seattle defense for 23 points was able to pretty much relegate the Havers TD's to rubble.
In the end it was the Boys In Blue upsetting the SV Havers MC by .07 to boost their record to 4-4 and relegating the Havers to their first loss. Bye bye perfect season better luck next year.
In picking this week I went 4 for 6 with defeats of SV Havers MC and OG Highsiders as my upsets this week it proves anything can happen.

LSCYCLING 11-03-2008, 02:35 PM TOP TEAMS.......CRUSHED
The top 3 teams go down in a ball of flames. As the SV Havers lose their 2nd in a row to the Woodchucks, barring some sort of miracle game by the injured S. Moss or a lot of kicking. DA Wad gets a whopping from the Fire Ants and Okies couldn't come up with the game of the season like so many before that have gone against OG Highsiders.
The woodchucks win moves them up into a 3 way tie at 2nd.
The 2nd half of the season is ramping up big time and the key seems to be backup players. As the top tier guys are getting busted up and going to IR or falling out for the season, their backups are raking in the points.
In picking this week again I went 4 for 6 although a monster game by the Havers or the Allstars could change my picking for the week.
LSCYCLING 11-07-2008, 04:51 PM I got 68.71 points from yesterdays game, schweeeet may limit my losing streak to 2.
orangegilly 11-11-2008, 08:33 AM Well, things were looking bleak for the Highsiders, but in a stroke of luck (genius?), Kurt Warner brought them back from 48 points down on Monday night by putting up a sick 58 points. The poor nerfherders gave up that lead like the Cleveland Browns....... Sorry bout that, Rhett. ;D
LSCYCLING 11-11-2008, 09:29 AM Oh Gee
Wow what an upset! OG highsiders pull out a Monday night victory with the help of the mighty Kurt Warner putting up some huge numbers with 58.12 points. Throwing for 3 TD's and 328 yards, the highsiders were able to erase a 48 point deficit that looked as impossible to erase as the national debt. Also with the huge number of points put the highsiders in the 1000 point category and 3rd place for the season.
The Okies moved into sole possession of 2nd place with their victory over The Shockers. SV Havers MC have pulled out of their losing streak beating DA Wad, and retain 1st place status.
Again I went 4 for 6 picking this week. Just can't seem to pick em' all.

Someone Buy my SV or the newley renamed Season Spoilers... easily knocked out the SV Havers MC 126 to 80. Solid performances by the QB RB WR And their defense was more than enough to spoil the season. The win bby the Okies puts them in a tie for 1st place.
DA WAD falls a notch in the playoff race with their and with 2 weeks left in the regular season it's still wide open.
In picking this week I went 1 for 6, pathetic.

Ok, who would have thought that by starting Farve against one of the NFL's worst defenses (and he was on a roll), he would have a TERRIBLE game...and the guy on the bench, going against one of the NFL's leading pass defenses...would score 42 points....
I can't win for loosing this year in FF.
The only redeeming factor is, no matter what happens I "should" get into the playoff's...but all that means, is I'll probably lose 433 to 12 in my first playoff game.
LSCYCLING 12-01-2008, 09:33 AM from what I understand only 2 home teams won yesterday. You'll be facing me so apparently this late in the season anything can happen, so the score will 433 - 433.07. My whole season was ruined by .07 I should be in first but noooooooooooooooooooooo we all got beat by a girl. grumble grumble, that didn't even know how to change out her line up and had half her team injured at one point WTF stupid football.

orangegilly 12-01-2008, 01:46 PM Hey, I'm happy with my second-place standing, thanks to my high-point total on the year. :)
Funny that the best player in the league thus far was undrafted, and I picked him up off waivers before week 1.
GMslave 12-01-2008, 09:27 PM Yeah, well according to Yahoo, Brian Westbrook was supposed to be injured. Turns out, he cranked 36 friggin points against the #1 team in the league. :BangHead: Brandon Jacobs was supposed to be injured too, so I picked up Derrick Ward thinking I got the drop on everybody. He seemed pretty dang UN-injured to me.
Oh well, at least the Lions are having a perfect season. That makes me :)
tlc4diving 12-01-2008, 09:50 PM I left Mark Clayton waaayyyyyyyy down on my list thinking he'd have another 3 pt game, leaving Coles up top. Clayton scored more this week than he had the whole season, 1 td pass, 164 yrds rushing. Coles score .3 pts. mmmkay....
orangegilly 12-02-2008, 08:34 AM Woohoo! Playoff bye!
LSCYCLING 12-02-2008, 09:27 AM THE OKIES TAKE THE SEASON
The Okies pull out a nice final victory to finish out the season roughing up the Scruffy Herfherders ending the season on top with a record of 10-3. Pulling out a first week playoff bye was OG Highsiders, capping off a 5 game winning streak. The SV Havers fell down fast in late season play to rest in third, the coach won't soon forget the .07 loss to the Boys in Blue. Da Wad finalized in 4th in a close game to Hunts Point Allstars. 5th was Boys In Blue and 6th was Woodchucks.
The Playoffs have now been set with The Okies and OG Highsiders with 1st round byes. Matchups this weekend are SV Havers vs. Woodchucks, Da Wad vs. Boys In Blue.
Thanks everyone for a great season of entertainment, lets see how the final pieces fall.

Did you actually check out the Ultimate Dream Team ? I'd be happy to trade you any one of them if you need him, but to be honest, a dead guy would be more productive. I have the whole Detroit Lions team.
orangegilly 12-06-2008, 07:54 AM Yeah, and there's at least a couple players that could make a big difference for some people. It's just bad form to drop all your players if you miss the playoffs. Nothing like ****ing with the integrity of the league.
I'd count at least 4 players that could make a difference:
NYG DEF - #5 scoring defense in our league
Lance Moore - 13th in WR scoring
Kevin Boss - 7th in TE scoring
Eli Manning - 10th in QB scoring
And for the right team, Tim Hightower (25th RB and playing St. Louis this week) and Kevin Walter (16th WR on the year).
Don't worry, I have a feeling these roster moves won't stick.
GMslave 12-06-2008, 11:34 AM Sorry man, I had a different viewpoint on it I guess. I don't see any sense in keeping those players tied up, especially if someone else could use them.
I'm gonna be sad to lose all my Detroit Lions tho. I am really hoping for the Perfect Season.

LSCYCLING 12-09-2008, 01:59 PM The Boys in Blue and the SV Havers have forged ahead in their quest for league victory. LSCYCLING 12-15-2008, 11:21 AM The Okies have wrapped up their trip to the super bowl beating The Boys in Blue with big points from the Dallas defense.
OG Highsiders look to be making a trip to the bowl if their kicker can make it through the uprights tonight. Current score of 110.71 - 110.03 have the SV Havers in the lead some how by a small margin. With OG's kicker still to play tonight it doesn't look promising.

If you're gonna be a lousy winner, then I'll be a lousy loser.
You got SOOOOO lucky I made a bonehead choice this weekend at QB, and that the rest of my team laid a huge egg. 63 points wins a game? In our league? Never would have thought that'd happen. The 39 points my "team" produced this weekend was my lowest point total of the year.
But I sucked, and your guys sucked less, and that's all that matters. :angry1:
Like I said before, congrats on the win.
And Lance ----- 4th place? wow
LSCYCLING 12-23-2008, 10:14 AM yeah whoda thunk it from that firey start. D*mn Boys in Blue! They weere the ones that ruined my undefeated streak and cost me the regular season victory by .07 and now they took 3rd from me, and why in the heck could Warner not suck last week I mean really....

He DID suck last week (well, for him this year), which is why I should have known better. Either one of my backup QB's would have won the game for me. I wasn't expecting a huge game out of Warner, but I surely didn't expect negative points.
Oh well.....since I'm from Cleveland, there's always next year. :p
