Holy crap. Jersey says the same thing as Cali a far as lane splitting goes:
"Lane Splitting Not referenced in Administrative Code or Statutes"
Which means that there is no specific law against it, right?

No, probably not a law that says explicitly "no lane splitting" but they can and probably will still get you on any number of other offenses that are distinguished by the discretion of the law enforcement officer. Says the same thing for TX but I am 100% confident that lane splitting is a no-no.

In NJ you will get Improper Passing for lane splitting. That is a 4 pointer. Good luck!

I've also heard of a possible "reckless" driving charge, here in Texas, depending on how it's done. The bad part about it is that it's ALL at the officer's discretion.

Lane splitting is legal in CA, as I fly by cops all the time. Biker cops do it all the time too.

I does'nt really say you can lane split in calif. says "more than one vehicle can occupy the same lane at once." Do it safely and it's fine, speeding past other traffic, may still get you nabbed.

I just got a ticket for being on the double line of the carpool lane(in CA). The only things u can do in CA is lane split (only with a single dashed line) or lane share (with either a single dashed line OR in the carpool lane)
