I opted for a Shogun (no cut) Crash Kit.

Had everything in one package, and the installation took all but ten minutes for the entire thing.

Well, I can tell you from experience that they work VERY well. Either set will work just fine.

+ 1 on motosliders (as long as you don't have the lower fairing). They install in 10 min, look great, and already paid off for me after dropping my bike.

Nothing that a hole saw can't handle... +1 for motosliders here...

+1 on Motosliders from me as well: installation took less than 10 minutes for the main frame sliders and the two swingarm sliders combined. I then spent five additional minutes feeling proud of myself for not screwing it up.

R&Gs work very well... but you can't order bobbins from anyone, so they're basically one time use sliders, unless you like riding around with rashed sliders. I'm currently trying to find another brand of bobbin and make it work.

when I got my bike, they thew on the Zuk sliders. Are these any good? I dont want to test them myself. Or should I change these out and get another brand?

I just laid my bike down at about 50mph and all I have to show for it is a broken off shifter. Motosliders absolutely saved my bike, not even a scratch on the fairings (SVS model). Can't rave about them enough right now.
