Just as the title says, my pucks fell apart before I left yesterday. The glue that held the velcro pad onto the cloth backer just gave up. Glad it happened before I got on the bike.
And before you smartalecs out there say anything, nevermind the fact that the only time I'll ever use a kneepuck is if I fall off the bike. That's irrelevent to the puck falling apart.

What!? :tard:
That's why I like the knee pucks machined from a less dense (Not necessarily worse wearing!) plastic. Like the Intuitives. Because they often/usually have staples in them as a backup.
IE: My elbow sliders below, you can see the staples in there. But, more importantly, THE VELCRO IS STITCHED TO THE BACKING! :BangHead:
Relying on glue alone to do that job is poor. :angry7:

:laughing4: Holy Thread revival, Nate, go change your password, I think ShaggyZ got a hold of it...
I ended up sticking the velcro back on with 3M "80" spray a distibutor gave me as a test. It didn't work worth a **** for my test, but it is doing a good job on the sliders so far. I was going to sew it as well, but the velcro is too tough for my little sewing kit to replace lost buttons with. Maybe I'll take them out to the shop and hit it with some pnuematic staples too... :icon_joker:

these are the ones that came with my sp4 one piece suit. they looked like soft cheese and wore like them too. This is from dragging knee twice around a hairpin at thet track.
