Hi, about to be a new SV650 rider. Been riding off and on for the last 13-14 years, from gxr, seca, ninja250 to soon an SV. Well maybe I will see some of you on the road.

Yes it is, though winter riding here can suck too. Really depends on where you live. SD is pretty warm all year around, we get some foggy cold times up in the Bay.

Only thing I don't like is riding when my hands get numb from cold. I had a bike in HI and I ran that sucker on roads that many would want a dirt bike for and in rain storms some would stay home in even with their cars, but it was never cold.

Yeah, it gets cold here too....but the last few days have been awesome! Cold, numb hands are the worst. Take care.
