Your weather in OH this weekend had to be great this weekend... If only fall and winter in NW PA were like today. I would have many more miles logged if I could keep the bike on the road all year.

The weather doesn't have a **** thing to do with me starting this thread.

at this point i'm about to organize a winter mini rally.............just throwin the idea out there. Think heading south for a weekend. Given the obscenely miniscule amount of riding I've managed to do this year (at least relative to years past), I might be down for something like this. God knows I've got enough vacation accrued. What's the weather at Deal's Gap like in mid-Dec.?

I dont know, but its gotta be way warming than NY or Ohio. Just bring the CRF and you'll be fine, we'll probably do more drinkin then riding anyway.

I don't have a CRF. It's an XR.
And you're probably right.
As long as there is no repeat of the infamous Night Cherohala in the Rain run.

The roads around the gap were a lotta fun in Feb this year... even had temps into the 70s one day of the long weekend. Had to dodge a little sand and snow on the roads in NC (including the Cherohala) from where it had iced the weekend before, but that was ok :D

Hey, me and daviddowns are riding up from South Florida for the 2010 Rally. A last-minute decision, as usual for me. We are looking for a cabin with two empty beds, preferably for the entire week. Can anyone help us out?
