prob a dumb questions whats the big difference with the 520 or 525 sproket kits? internet is to slow to reseacrh it thats why i am asking here

:) With Today's X-Ring Technology the biggest difference is weight, the tensile strength in the high quality Chains and Sprockets we provide in the kits almost the same.

hey, just wondering if you got a 520 kit for the gsxr 06-07-08-09 rear wheel conversion?!

also, how many km should be expected from 520 vs. 525 ?

btw, just a heads up, this kit was from Blair, installed it @ 12000km, now im at around 25000km and its still like brand new, sprocket teeth are still sharp looking !! with decent amount of aggresive riding, couple of wheelies here and there! I honestly think im good for another season no problem!

:) Hi, Your bike is still looking sharp. Good on you for maintaining it so well. With your 13000 KM so far it is obvious from your comments and the photo that your 520 Chain and Sprocket Combination has a long way to go before it is worn out.

How agressive is the 520 compared to the stock set up? I'm not trying to go crazy.

How much longer would the 525 rear sprocket last over the 520?

Greetings Blair,
Hey, I think it's time for a fresh set of sprockets and chain for my '03 'S' model. 15k miles and the chain's got a pretty good length of tight links and I think I'm noticing a little surging because of that at unaccelerated cruise. 15/44 is the current OEM set-up on it and though I'd love to squeeze a little better mileage out of this bike (I'm only getting 42 mpg avg when I tour), I am pretty happy with the current rpm / speed settings BUT I've never played with anything else to know better, so..... I'd love to get your input on that matter. I have the bike set-up heavily for Sport/Tour long distance but like to do that on the twisty's, not just slabbing all the time...just some of the time. Definitely want steel and want to maintain the 525 application.

Whatchya got for me now? I'm ready to roll with it.
