Need a little shop help

So my bike decided to eat 4th gear on Monday at the track. I found a great shop I can ship my transmission out to and they will replace the damaged parts, undercut the dogs, heat treat everything, check it for tolerances etc. etc. for a great price which is great. The only bad part is I have to take the transmission out of the engine to get it there which involves cracking the engine cases. This is not something I have done before and I would like some help so I don't screw anything up. I also don't really have a shop or garage where I could do all the work. I do however have the shop manual and would be willing to buy any specialty tools needed to do the work.

So if someone can help me out with a place to work and some knowledge or point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. I can definitely pay $$ and bring booze to make it worth your while.

-Dave

Edit - Forgot to add that I ride a 2005 ZX6R and live in New York City so a local shop would be appreciated.

Hey Dave,

It's Terry with the 09 ZX6R from Monday's track day.

I know someone who would be perfect to help with this job.

Let me get in touch with him and I'll connect you 2. I read both posts on WERA and SU also and I agree that R&D looks like a perfect fit.
