Isn't that beer? I believe we are having a separate night for beer and for liquor. Don't want to mix, you know.

I will most likely have a bottle of Gelnmorangie "The Lasanta". And maybe a bottle of Macallan.

Bringing German booze.

Bottle of Asbach Uralt brandy, and Apfelkorn apple schnapps.
(Trust me, the Apfelkorn will be a smash hit. :))

Wasn't until a few years ago, you couldn't even get it stateside. When I was in Germany, we always kept a bottle in the freezer. Great stuff.

uh yeah! if it's anything like the games we play with it (sip it, pass it) then it will go quickly. I think they're only $7 a bottle at the class 6. I do miss the sour apfelkorn.. that stuff was WAY better. Only place i can get that is when I pass through Ramstein on my way to/from deployment.

LOL. I was at Ramstein. 90-91. God I miss it.

I'm planning on bringing a bottle of Barbancourt Rhum for the tasting. The dark stuff; prolly the 8-year-old (although I might bring the 15-year stuff).

I've heard (from single malt scotch drinkers) that Woodford Reserve is pretty good, but haven't tried it yet myself.

At the liquor store Patron is just below the top shelf (where the Cabo and Dos is). :p

Cabo is a little more smooth than Patron and a better buz IMO.
Dos Lunas is just some top shelf tiquila the "expert"/clerk talked me into buying.

No , really? It was sarcasm. Most people think that mezcal (sometimes with a worm) is tequila, b/c it is also distilled from blue agave. Technically Mezcal was produced before tequila was, so you say that tequila is actually a form of mezcal.

Ok all of this talk of tequila has made me want some.
